Cradle Sunday

Cradle Sunday is a ministry of the St. Francis Xavier community that partners with organizations, such as Life Choices, Maggie’s Place and First Way to provide services to the most vulnerable among us.

St. Francis Xavier Ministry of Mothers Sharing, (now MOM 2 MOM group at St. Francis Xavier) and the Knights of Columbus Council #13278 began hosting Cradle Sunday on the 2nd Sunday of each month, starting September 11, 2011. Staff and volunteers from Life Choices, Maggie's Place or First Way are present at each Cradle Sunday to give information about their organization and accept financial & material donations. Members of the parish can help by representing themselves (individuals or families) or their ministry (2 or 3 people together) and assist in accepting donations for the organization. Students can get service hours by helping. The mothers, babies & families benefiting from your help will be forever grateful!!

Mom 2 Mom provides volunteer support for the Cradle Sunday Ministry.  Volunteers are needed to staff the Cradle Sunday tables and to represent our parish before and after masses.
