St. Francis Xavier Parish Quinceañera Requirements
- Parish Registration & Attendance
The family must be registered members of St. Francis Xavier Parish for at least one year, with regular Mass attendance documented through the use of Sunday Mass envelopes and/or online giving.
- Faith Formation
The young lady must have participated actively for at least one year in one of the following at St. Francis Xavier Parish: LifeTeen, EDGE, or Family Faith Formation. Alternatively, current attendance at a Catholic high school also fulfills this requirement.
- Sacraments of Initiation
The young lady must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
- Parental Involvement
At least one parent (mother or father) must be actively involved in a parish ministry.
- Scheduling
The Quinceañera Mass must be scheduled at least three months in advance of the requested date.
The ceremony takes place only on Saturdays at 1:00pm.
- Donation
A donation of $850 is required, which includes music for the ceremony. Please note: there is no fee reduction if you choose to use outside musicians.
- Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve your date. Please note that changing the date after booking will result in the forfeiture of this deposit.
- Pre-Ceremony Meeting
The priest celebrating the Quinceañera will meet with the young lady and her family at least one month before the ceremony to get acquainted and discuss the celebration.
- Confession
The young lady is encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) prior to the Quinceañera.
- Dress Code
Attire for the Quinceañera should be modest, with shoulders covered.
- Blessing Option
If you would prefer a special blessing rather than a full Quinceañera Mass, blessings are offered on Sundays after the 1:00pm Spanish Mass - with prior request.
